There are certain periods in our lives we engage in things that do not glorify God and we immerse ourselves into the desires of the flesh.
First, we know what our Bible tells us and how God showers us with his love and protects us.
In the Bible, we also find out that he always calls sinners to repentance despite how weak or defeated our sins have made us or the world problems have done to us.
The Bible tells us that praising and glorifying God is important in our lives and it surpasses prayers in two folds.
At some points, we might also be busy with work or house chores but we still have the eagerness to pray, we can simply do that through songs whether via word of mouth or digital.

Various people around the world have praised God with songs and done this in a digital form too so that when you are not strong enough to sing, you can simply take your earphones, open a playlist that urges you to praise God and listen as our hearts communicate with him.
Hence, we have carefully selected and embedded ten songs in this guide that can help you be in the mood of worship and glorify God whether you are singing along with words of mouth or not.
These songs include;
1. The Lion and The Lamb” – Big Daddy Weave
This is the first song on the list and is the best I can recommend to you in my view.
I love the worship of the song and the power of the lyrics as it breathtakingly stirs me.
The song tells of the accuracy of God’s words to Isaiah when he said in verse 45, “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me, every knee will bow; by me, every tongue will swear.”
The Bible also tells us of the last day when Jesus will come in all glory and power in the clouds and the glorious of how it will be.
2. New Again – Brad Paisley and Sara Evans
New Again is a very emotional song that talks of The Passion of Christ and its lyrics are enough to help any heart.
At a certain time, a young reader, Autumn, sent us an email stating how Josh Turner’s song, Long Black Train made her understand God more and his omniscience.
When choosing a nice song to help build your faith, you should be careful as a Christian since the Bible is the origin of our faith and the songs you would need are only those that have origin to it.
In the video of this song, the images too are very excruciating and show humiliating pain so if this would affect your mental health, you can as well just embrace only the audio version of the song.
3. Jesus” – Chris Tomlin
Once I hear this song by Chris Tomlin on my radio, I go instantly into a session of worship despite what I’m doing.
The focuses majorly on Jesus’ power and lets us know the truth about him.
In John chapter 14 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”
This statement by Jesus Christ lets you know that he is everything to us and when we think of the reality of it, we acknowledge his true power.

4. “What A Beautiful Name” – Hillsong Worship
Listening to this song alone is enough to draw tears from your eyes as you worship God.
It portrays the full power in the mighty name of Jesus and tells of the beauty, wonder, and strength in that name as it was outlined in the Bible.
The capability of the name to cause knees to bow and tongues to confess is so glorious and that is why I revere the beginning as it calls to our mind that He was there since the start of the world, “In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.” – John 1:1-2.
5. “Promised Land” – Crowder
Since some years back when I began to listen to Crowder songs, I couldn’t help but join his numerous fans.
He is unique in his music style and makes awesome worship songs.
This song brings to our minds the fact that God’s power has no limit and we having different pasts and different stories don’t change the fact that his love for us remains unchanged.
When we sin, God yearns for us to come back to him in submission and obedience because he is always ready to forgive us, and with the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, we get our redemption.
6. “The Same Power” – Jeremy Camp
This song holds countless truths of God’s power.
One of them runs in the lyric, “and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.” – Ephesians 1:19-21.
It lets us know that no power of darkness nor weapon will prevail against us because we are victorious through the power of the cross where Jesus died for our sins and went on to resurrect from the tomb hence defeating death.
7. “Our God” – Chris Tomlin
There is a need for us to radiate God’s light in our lives as we go about so that every darkness will flee from us.
There are certain times in life we experience chaos, distractions, and other worries of life, we should listen to this song and understand that despite all worries, it is only Jesus Christ that matters in all we do.
In this Bible passage, Luke 10:41-42 which goes, “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her”, we see the reality of life and important truth in our lives about how we worry about unimportant things.
We should leave behind all these things and focus on our God because he is all that matters in our life.
8. “Because He Lives” – Matt Maher
It is an obvious truth that God is alive and he knows all that happens around us as he said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Despite the trying times, we find ourselves today, we should know that that power through which Jesus rise from the grave is open to us to access and is capable of raising us above all problems we face in our lives.
When we pray and meditate on God’s word, we experience his amazing power.
9. “Praise You in This Storm” by Casting Crowns
When we hear this song, we recall the disciples fear when the boat was almost sinking on the sea. (Mark 4:35-41).
It makes us understand that despite the heavy storms around us and the fear we have that God is asleep and not mindful of our sufferings, there is still a need to praise him because he tells us that, he has the power to calm our seas of problems.
10. “Chainbreaker” by Zach Williams
Zach in this song talks of a Christian who has yielded to the falsehood the world presents and forgotten his creator’s presence.
He comforts them that there is a better world out there with upbeat rhythms which explains that when we walk in Christ, no chain can hold us back since he has the power to break us out and the world can’t restrain us.
